Outdoor Winter Fun Spots in North Las Vegas

It seems everyone in North Las Vegas is looking for ways to get out of the house this winter! Fresh air is good for the soul — not to mention it helps to get the wiggles out of the kids. 

We put together a list to help you find fun things to do this winter with your family in {Town} (or just a short drive away!) during these next few winter months in North Las Vegas, Nevada: 

1. Aliante Nature Discovery Park

Aliante Nature Discovery Park, aka The Dinosaur Park, offers plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around in a dinosaur-themed setting. The park is open daily from 5:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. 

2. Road Trip: Red Rock Canyon

A short road trip to Red Rock Canyon gives your family access to multiple trails running through various desert terrains. There is a trail for everyone, no matter how experienced of a hiker they are. Click here for additional information about admission and hours of operation. 



3. Craig Ranch Regional Park

4. Shadow Rock Park

The location of Shadow Rock Park offers fantastic views of the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding areas. Take a hike at this park, which is located southeast of Nellis Air Force Base. 

5. Road Trip: Seven Magic Mountains

6. Frenchman Mountain

For more skilled hikers, Frenchman Mountain offers a rugged terrain that takes you through trails with fabulous views of the Vegas Valley. 

7. On the Ranch Farmers Market
